Many, many years ago, my friend Ernest (a faithful international follower of this blog) and I saw a hand-lettered sign that said, "No Strollers. PLEASE!!!" We still laugh about it. So when I saw this sign in Manhattan recently, I thought of Ernest and took out my camera. Looks like they, too, are willing to be polite...up to a point.
